New Years Eve with Friends 2008

The Allens hosted our New Years' get-together. Everyone brought their fondue pots, and together we feasted on bread and cheese, chocolate, beef, chicken, and shrimp. There was a little of everything. We ate til our tummies were overstuffed.

Later that evening we let the kids break a pinata. Growing impatient, Colby got in on the act and tore the pinata apart. The kids quickly snagged as much candy as they could.

To end a good a evening, we all celebrated the incoming new year - twice. Dakota was upstairs during the first celebration, so we did it over again - this time with him. This brightened him right up.

We announced and committed our New Years' Resolutions together.
